What is cali swag district?

Cali Swag District was an American hip hop group formed in Inglewood, California in 2009. The group was composed of rappers C-Smoove, Yung, JayAre, and M-Bone. They achieved mainstream success with their hit single "Teach Me How to Dougie" in 2010, which reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Tragically, member M-Bone was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Inglewood in 2011. Following his death, the group released a tribute song titled "How to Do That" in his memory.

Cali Swag District continued to release music and perform live, but never achieved the same level of success as they did with "Teach Me How to Dougie." The group eventually disbanded in 2013.

Despite their short-lived career, Cali Swag District made a significant impact on the hip hop scene with their catchy dance track and energetic performances. The group will always be remembered for their infectious hit song that brought the Dougie dance craze to the mainstream.
